Bulk Trash Has Time and Place

The City of Phoenix picks up bulk trash (materials that must NOT be placed in the garbage or recycling container such as furniture, large appliances and large amounts of vegetation) quarterly. It is a violation of City ordinance to place bulk trash out more than one week before the published collection start date. Sunnyslope falls into two areas:  area 9 includes homes east of 7th Ave. and area 10 covers residents west of 7th Ave.

Collection in area 9 will begin the week of January 30th. Bulk trash should not be placed prior to January 21st. Area 10 will begin the following week.

To report premature placement  or for more information, contact Public Works Customer Service at 602-262-7251.

For more information about where to place bulk trash, a map and 2012 schedule for collection areas, click here.
