Bomberos Turns One!

Since opening its doors on November 19, 2007, Bomberos has acquired quite a collection of accolades including; "Best New Wine Bar" Phoenix Magazine, "Best South American Wine Bar" Phoenix New Times and "Great Places for Fireside Dining" Arizona Republic.

Bolstered by support from the local community, Bomberos is able to celebrate a successful year despite the struggling economy. "Without support from the local community I can't guarantee we would be here today." said Oscar Mastrantuono, owner of Bomberos Café & Wine Bar. "This has been a rough few months for everyone and we sincerely thank all of our patrons for believing in our café and supporting our dream."

To show its gratitude Bomberos Café & Wine Bar invites guests to enjoy 50% off their total bill after 5 p.m. on Monday, November 24th!

The cafe, which is located just east of the Dollar Store is open Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7PM.

New Band to Play Bomberos on Saturdays

Jaleo is a classic pervasive salsa band offering grooves of island decent; Afro Cuban, Puerto Rican and Columbian rhythmical inspiration. Playing at Bomberos each Saturday night - 9pm to Midnight.

There's a Time & Place for Bulk Trash

The City of Phoenix picks up bulk trash (or uncontained trash) quarterly. It is a violation of City ordinance to place bulk trash out more than one week before the published collection start date.

Most of Sunnyslope is in area 8 (homes bounded by Central, Dunlap, 12th St. and Northern, for example are in area 9).

There are NO collections remaining for 2008. Check back for the 2009 schedule or call (602)262-7251.

To report premature placement, contact Public Works Customer Service at 602-262-7251.
